Which Baltimore Ravens Jersey Has The Best Win Loss Percentage?
Fact Checked by Jim Tomlin

A lot of sports fans might have a lucky jersey or sweatshirt that they must wear whenever they watch their favorite team play. Baltimore Ravens fans may be among the sartorially superstitious, but their NFL team apparently doesn’t need to be.

The Ravens, who reached the AFC Championship Game last season, have yet to announce their uniforms for each of their 2024-25 regular-season games. Based on our research, none of their standard threads stand out in terms of the team’s success.

Ravens Success Comes In Many Colors

With a 56-27 regular season record since 2019, Baltimore has been one of the NFL’s most successful franchises over the past five seasons. For much of that span, fans throughout the state have been able to wager on the team via legal, regulated Maryland sportsbooks

Baltimore has made the playoffs in four of the five and was on pace to do so in 2021 before Lamar Jackson’s injury late in the season derailed the team, which started 8-3 start before the Ravens ended the season with six straight losses.

While Baltimore has consistently won over the years regardless of which jersey it has worn, that wasn’t the case in 2023. Last season, the Ravens went 4-3 in their purple jerseys, which were worn only at M&T Bank Stadium. They sported a 7-1 mark in their white jerseys and won the two games in which they wore their black set at home. Their loss in the AFC Championship to the Kansas City Chiefs also came at home when the Ravens wore purple jerseys.

The same two teams will open the regular season on Sept. 5, with the Chiefs hosting the Ravens in a Thursday night game. DraftKings Maryland Sportsbook has made the defending Super Bowl champs a 3-point favorite in the first NFL game of the year.

Ravens Do Not Glitter In Gold

The one jersey that has been the least successful has been the one they’ve worn the least. The purple jersey with gold numerals has only been worn three times since 2019. It’s served as their Color Rush uniform, matched with their purple pants. The only win came in 2019 when Jackson and the Ravens routed the Los Angeles Rams 45-6 in Week 12 on Monday night. The Rams, for their part, wore an all-yellow combo that was as awful-looking as the score.

The Ravens lost to the Green Bay Packers 31-30 in 2021 and 23-20 to the Buffalo Bills in 2022 in the purple-and-gold getup, which they skipped last season. Baltimore is set to revive the purple and gold this year as the Ravens have unveiled an alternate helmet with a different crest.

Regardless of the jersey they’ll wear, the Ravens are among the favorites to win it all this season. At Caesars Maryland Sportsbook, oddsmakers have made the defending AFC North champs their third choice to win the 2025 Super Bowl, giving them odds of +900.
