Ravens-Browns Rivalry

The rivalry for the Ravens-Browns is an interesting one, in that the Ravens were formerly known as the Browns up until 1996. The rivalry is more bitter for Cleveland as many of the Browns' draft picks from 1996 to 1998 were on the Ravens' roster when Baltimore won the 2000 Super Bowl. Cleveland fans believe that if the Browns had stayed, they may have hoisted the Lombardi Trophy that year.

The Browns franchise resumed in 1999 and have played the Ravens twice a season since. However, the Ravens lead the Ravens-Browns rivalry-all time at 36-14, winning each decade against Cleveland. The two have never played each other in the playoffs.

With two young, tough teams, it'll be interesting to see how the next games in this rivalry play out.
