BetMGM launched its sports wagering app today as mobile Maryland sports betting commenced in the state at 9 a.m.

BetMGM has been operating an elaborate two-tiered sportsbook with a 360-degree jumbotron and 110-foot state-of-the-art wrap-around screen at MGM National Harbor in Prince George’s County, as well as a retail sportsbook at Nationals Park in Washington D.C.
Retail sports betting has been legal in Maryland since last December.

Plus, the app is integrated with MGM Rewards, the casino company’s loyalty program, that allows customers to accumulate credits/points that can be redeemed for discounts at MGM Resorts properties nationwide, including in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Mississippi.
