Barstool Sportsbook, the sports wagering product of PENN Entertainment, launched today as seven sportsbook operators got out of the starting gate for the start of online Maryland sports betting.
The official start time for mobile sports betting in Maryland was 9 a.m., ending a long wait on the part of the state’s sports betting enthusiasts.

---PointsBet (operator for Riverboat on the Potomac in Charles County).
Just last week, Maryland Lottery and Gaming said approved sportsbooks could launch on Nov. 23.
What to Expect from Barstool in Maryland
Barstool Sportsbook customers will be able to place wagers from their desktop computers and from their mobile devices on sports events around the world. The wagering options include straight bets, cross-sport parlays, props, and in-game wagering. To spice up the action, there will be daily odds boosts, custom offers and promotions, including picks from Barstool personalities.
PENN already operates a Maryland casino, Hollywood Casino Perryville, which has a retail Barstool Sportsbook and Barstool Sportsbook restaurant.

One promotion ahead of the Thanksgiving Day games, includes “The Big Gobble.” In that promotion, users who bet $100+ on the Over of the Over/Under line for combined total points among all three Thanksgiving NFL games will win an “Overs Club” jacket if the Over hits.
Barstool Sportsbook also announced that it has committed a donation to the Coppin State University Development Foundation.
