Ronnie Stanley Re-Signs With Baltimore Ravens

Fact Checked by Jim Tomlin

The Baltimore Ravens have re-signed their All-Pro offensive tackle, Ronnie Stanley, to a deal reported to be worth $60 million spread over three seasons. Now it’s worth wondering where that puts the former Notre Dame star when it comes to the richest deals handed out to top linemen.

Stanley, a nine-year veteran with the Ravens, will continue anchoring Baltimore’s offensive line for years to come, giving two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson peace of mind at the same time.

BetMaryland.com used Spotrac.com to compare Stanley’s contract with contracts for other left tackles, listed by total salary for the life of the contract, as part of our Maryland sports betting coverage.

Before Baltimore reached a deal with Stanley, BetMaryland.com, where real money Maryland sportsbook promo codes are always available, developed odds projecting his team for 2025. When this was published last week, we had the Ravens as the favorite to retain Stanley at -150 odds and that was just what happened.

At day’s end, Stanley’s $60 million deal ties Taylor Decker of the Detroit Lions for 11th overall in the NFL for the total amount over the life of a contract for a left tackle, regarded as the most valued position on an O-line. That’s directly behind the $60.060 million deal that Dion Dawkins signed with the Buffalo Bills, but well behind the largest offer ever signed by an offensive lineman in league history.

That honor belongs to Tristin Wirfs, who signed a $140.6 million deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Aug. 1, 2024, making him the highest-paid player in franchise history and the most valued offensive lineman in league history in one fell swoop.

At Caesars MD Sportsbook, the Ravens are the No. 2 odds choice to win Super Bowl 60 in February at +700, tied with the Kansas City Chiefs, behind only the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles (+600).

After Wirfs, other well-paid NFL left tackles Andrew Thomas, who earned a five-year, $117.5 million deal with the New York Giants and Minnesota’s Christian Darrisaw ($104 million), 49ers LT Trent Williams ($82.660 million).

This week, as the NFL free agency window opened, Stanley found himself among that well-paid cadre of offensive linemen. He has parlayed his nine-year streak of quality play into a long-term deal that’ll keep him in the Charm City for years to come while also cementing his place in the league’s history books at the same time.
