The Baltimore Ravens have only been in Charm City since 1996, but the period from 2000 onward has been fruitful, with two Super Bowl titles and 16 postseason berths between the turn of the millennium and 2024.
The franchise has produced several Hall of Famers and some that will get a bust of their own in Canton when their playing days are done. With that in mind, BetMaryland.com broke down the best players with the highest Approximate Value at Pro-Football-Reference.com to compile this list to augment your Maryland sports betting knowledge.

Offensively, no one did more during their playing days in the Charm City than offensive guard Marshall Yanda. He racked up 116 AV in 177 games with the Ravens from 2007 to 2019, finishing two points ahead of two-time Associated Press MVP Lamar Jackson, Baltimore’s current starting quarterback and the only other offensive player with triple digits in AV.
Hall of Fame offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden had 81 AV between 2000 and 2007, the limit of our quarter-century team calculations, and 124 AV in total during his career from 1996 to 2007.
Tight end Mark Andrews (55 AV in 104 games since 2018) is the only active offensive player on the list besides Jackson. Thanks in part to those weapons, Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl odds are strong during the offseason, at +700 with several operators as of April 8.

Given Baltimore’s long-standing commitment to playing defense-first football, it’s likely of little surprise to learn that the Ravens’ top AV earners played on that side of the ball between 2000 and 2024. Defensive props on the Ravens are often a good bet with Maryland sportsbook apps during NFL season.
Hall of Famer Ray Lewis had 174 AV between 2000 and 2012 – and that does not even account for his whole career, just the period in question for this story. For his full career (1996 to 2012, all with the Ravens) his AV at Pro Football Reference was 224, No. 10 on the all-time list and third among defensive players.
Linebacker Terrell Suggs (149 AV in 229 games from 2003 to 2018), safety Ed Reed (127 AV in 160 games from 2002 to 2012) and defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (109 AV in 135 games from 2006 to 2014) all cemented their legend with Baltimore’s defense. Reed is in the Hall of Fame.
Cornerback Marlon Humphrey (66 AV from 2017 to present) is the lone current player from the Ravens defense to make our list, perhaps not surprising with so much competition. Our NFL Draft power rankings analyze how well Baltimore has drafted recently, heading into this year’s Draft from April 24-26.
Position | Player | Years With Team | Approximate Value During Years |
K | Justin Tucker | 2012-Present | 61 |
P | Sam Koch | 2006-2021 | 38 |
Finally, among the team’s many specialists, no kicker has earned more AV points than kicker Justin Tucker. He has 61 AV in 212 games with the club from 2012 to present, ranking 17th franchise wide, and is in the argument for the greatest kicker in NFL history (his 89.1% field goal accuracy is tops all time). Punter Sam Koch had 38 AV from 2006 to 2021 to lead all punters in that category.
Tucker ranks highly on Baltimore’s all-time AV leaderboard, but Koch’s standing is a bit further down the list. The veteran of 256 games with the Ravens is 37th behind cornerback Jimmy Smith (40 AV) and ahead of linebacker Matt Judon and offensive tackle Michael Oher (37 each).
Our Baltimore Ravens playoff chances guide will help you keep track of the latest odds as the 2025-26 NFL regular season approaches.
