Few NFL teams embody the type of consistency that the Baltimore Ravens have over the years. The Ravens have made 15 playoff appearances in 29 seasons (including seven AFC North title) and won two Super Bowls.
For the 2024 season, DraftKings Maryland Sportsbook set Baltimore’s win total (over/under) at 11.5 wins (+140 over). BetMaryland.com used SportsReference.com to find all teams with a 11.5-win total line in the past 10 NFL seasons and how they performed.

This year, it seems like the bar has been raised in the Charm City for the team’s expectations and for Maryland sports betting. Coach John Harbaugh’s team looks to improve on last season’s 13-4 run that saw Baltimore make the AFC Championship Game. The Ravens hosted that game but fell 17-10 to the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
Entering the new league year, the Ravens sit third on FanDuel Sportsbook Maryland’s Super Bowl odds board at +950, ranking behind the San Francisco 49ers at +550 and the Chiefs at +600.

Over the past 10 years, six of the 12 teams (50%) that had a preseason win total over/under of 11.5 earned 12 or more victories (that includes years when the NFL had a 16-game regular season). And 11 of those teams (91.7%) made the NFL playoffs.
Three teams with an over/under of 11.5 made the year’s Super Bowl and one (those Chiefs from 2023) won the Vince Lombardi Trophy. That gives a good idea of the high ceiling that teams in the Ravens’ shoes have enjoyed, and it might be good insight for Maryland sportsbook apps customers.
For Harbaugh and company, that road to glory begins in earnest Sept. 5. The Ravens face the Chiefs in the league’s Thursday night opener in Kansas City against the two-time defending Super Bowl champs.
