Maryland’s Ultimate Bucket List Items

You only get one shot at life, so countless Americans are out there trying to check lifelong dreams off their theoretical bucket lists. People consider doing things ranging from the supernatural all the way down to the microscopic before they run out of time to do so.  

Whether it be a once-in-a-lifetime vacation to a far-flung locale or a personal quest like a long hike or marathon, Maryland residents have a host of things they’d like to check off the proverbial bucket list.  

National Bucket List Day is April 24, so BetMaryland.com took a break from Maryland sports betting to investigate what Maryland residents dream of doing before they die.

Maryland Residents Want to Hang 10

Learning how to surf was Maryland’s top bucket list item, at 42, while a trip to Northern Arizona (38) and getting married (29) were next up, followed by taking a vacation to Paris (26), buying a house and skydiving (17 each).

Rounding out the bucket list in Maryland were items like running a marathon (13), going on a white rafting adventure (7), seeing the Northern Lights and writing a book (5 each).
